GDE Science and Technology Innovation Center Laboratory Base officially put into use Edit Date：2022/08/05

       On July 18, the unveiling ceremony of the new laboratory base of GDE Science and Technology Innovation Center was held. Chief Economist of Poly China Light Industry, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Haisum Co., Ltd. Zhao Guoang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President Chen Rongrong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Disciplinary Committee Li Yimin, Vice President Chen Zhiming, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of the Board Lin Lin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the GDE, General Manager Luo Jun and other leaders attended the unveiling ceremony and visited the new laboratory base.

       It is reported that the new experimental base of the science and Technology Innovation Center has 6 floors, covering an area of about 1,500 ㎡, and has established three laboratories of environmental protection, new materials and bioengineering, covering instrument analysis and testing, small test experiment simulation, pilot experiment, academic exchange, etc. At present, a scientific research team led by doctors and the GDE’s technical backbone has been established, and carried out “Key technologies for synergistic catalytic treatment of refractory organics by ozone advanced oxidation”, “Key technologies for wastewater treatment of ternary battery materials”, “Key technologies for battery recycling and utilization in the lithium battery industry”, “Saturated activated carbon regeneration resource utilization technology” and many other topics.

       Introducing by the director of GDE Science and Technology Innovation Center, the new laboratory base will closely follow the strategic deployment of superiors and GDE, strengthen the leadership of scientific and technological strategies, form a complete innovative R&D system and a first-class R&D talent echelon, and strive to build the Science and Technology Innovation Center into a provincial-level engineering technology research center and provincial Enterprise Key Laboratory. GDE will increase investment in scientific research, focus on “core process technology”, carry out core technology innovation in key areas such as high-end equipment manufacturing, green low-carbon, digital economy, and modern engineering technology, and use technological innovation to help the GDE to achieve a high-quality development.
